Europe is moving towards truly seamless cross-border travel, with harmonised multimodal information and interoperable systems becoming a reality through new regulations such as the revised MMTIS and upcoming TSI Telematics. Entur is enabling this vision with a practical cross-border implementation built on open standards and the collaborative NEMU project, which connects National Access Points, operators, and authorities.

By combining Transmodel for shared semantics, NeTEx for structured timetable and network data, SIRI for real-time information, and OSDM for rail ticketing, Entur provides a unified digital representation of the European transport network. This approach supports consistent journey planning, ticketing, and real-time information across borders, demonstrating how standards-based infrastructure turns regulatory requirements into operational systems that make seamless multimodal travel a reality.
