Digitising Greater Manchester's Young Person's Pass... A Model for Concessions?
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) are responsible for the Bee Network, Greater Manchester's integrated transport system and the first region to bring bus services under local control through franchising. This session will explore how the delivery of the Bee Network led to the opportunity to integrate the region's 16-18-year-old 'Our Pass' into the Bee Network app, moving from smartcard to smartphone and how this model might be extended to more concessions.
