This session will explore TfL’s comprehensive Revenue Protection Strategy, designed to minimize fare evasion and optimize revenue through understanding behaviours of offenders. With an ambitious target to reduce fare evasion rates below 1.5%, TfL continues to enhance its practices, leveraging data and collaboration to maximize effectiveness and ensure accountability. The discussion will explore TfL’s understanding of offender categorisation alongside developing understanding through research and benchmarking with other global transport systems.
