This presentation will delve into the regulatory and technical challenges for the development of a comprehensive European framework on rail ticketing. Participants will gain insights on Commission’s initiatives on single digital booking and ticketing (SDBTR), multimodal digital mobility services (MDMS), as well as on the revision of the technical framework for ticketing (Telematics TSI) and for EU-wide multimodal travel information (MMTIS), and associated technical specifications and European standards.
