Historically, transport authorities and operators have been in control of how they collect their revenue – which systems to use, how to protect against fraud and fare evasion, and when to invest in upgrades.  In adopting open payments that dynamic changes.  But who makes the decisions and who owns the consequences of those decisions?  This session will explore accountability in open payments standards from the perspective of the transport authority.
