Many parts of Wales lost access to the national rail network over 50 years ago but as part of a pioneering scheme some communities are being virtually reconnected with regular long distance coach services and through rail ticketing that can be purchased via any national rail retailer. This session looks at how this has been achieved and the successes so far as well as looking forward to how the scheme will be expanded to encompass communities throughout Wales in the next few years.
