This session will describe the technology and procurement strategy of Victoria’s Department of Transport and Planning for the delivery of a new Account Based Ticketing System across the State. This presentation describes Government priorities and the outcomes that were sought from the procurement accordingly and shares some of the lessons learnt. This presentation will also explore aspects of the strategy design, structure and its implementation. I will also provide an update on how the transition was performed successfully and the delivery of the ticketing program is progressing.
