Checking in and out with a bank card is presently common in many large cities, all over the world: London, New York, Vancouver, and Sydney. But it is nowhere possible to connect your discount ticket / subscription with the bank card. Till now. In Amsterdam, we started in September 2023 with this new proposition. The goal is to make it easier for (frequent) passengers, for not having to buy an extra card. On the other hand, we must be thoughtful in the implementation. In this presentation Bas and Inge will elaborate on what is needed on forehand, on other possibilities which lie ahead of us and the context to deal with (in the Nederland).
