As of September 2024, I am the CEO of MÁV and thus head of the MÁV Group. In this role, I strive to take a service-centric approach with passengers at the centre and to improve the competitiveness of public transport in Hungary with 21st century solutions. Furthermore as a member of the Gyor-Sopron-Ebenfurt Railway (GySEV) board I can contribute to and facilitate effective and smooth communication and cooperation between the companies.

I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work in transport, especially in public transport. I started my career with the Gyermekvasút, a true Hungaricum. I am still an active member, supporter and mentor of the organisation. All in all, I have been working in public transport for nearly a quarter of a century, in a variety of roles. This has allowed me to gain a diverse perspective and a wide range of knowledge. I first worked as a public transport expert in various fields at the then newly established Budapest Transport Centre. From there I moved to MÁVSTART Zrt, the Hungarian railway company's public transport company, where I was initially Head of Passenger Transport Service Sales, then Director of Business and Service Development, and before joining MÁV, I was Deputy CEO for Service Development and Sales of both MÁV-START and VOLÁNBUSZ following the merger of the companies in February 2024. I am proud to have played a decisive role in the development and implementation of the transport tariff reform in Hungary, which was based on a new season ticket structure similar to the "Klimaticket", inspired by European models. I am married and the happy father of two twin girls.
