Simen works as a Data Scientist in the Data and Analytics department of Vy. With a background in computer science and artificial intelligence, he has been a vital part in building up the AI capabilities in the department since the beginning. During his time at Vy he has used both his theoretical background to develop several AI projects, including price optimization and fare evasion, and his keen business sense to identify and formalize business cases for new ML and AI solutions. He was an early driving force for the fare evasion project by experimenting and analyzing the business value of the data set, formalizing the business case, and facilitating the communication between the developers and stakeholders of the project.
