Ms Maria Rautavirta is Director of Data Business Unit at the Ministry of Transport and Communications Finland. Maria is responsible on the strategic development of horizontal data economy initiatives covering also solutions for personal data management and regulative framework. In addition, Maria looks after data utilization in the field of transport and logistics. Maria has been drafting the regulations to open mobility data in Finland. Maria believes that through data we can enable broader digitalization as well as innovation and technologies such as automation and AI for the benefit of people and societies.
