Lawrence is a globally recognized fare collection expert with over 18 years’ experience of implementing open, closed and account-based ticketing systems, while working for a transit agency (DART, Dallas), for a fare collection system integrator (Vix Technology) and a transit consultant (Jacobs) within multiple agencies including MTA (NYC). He brings significant insight into the challenges that transit agencies face implementing their new fare collection system and a successful track record of launching Open Payment projects.

Lawrence represents Consult Hyperion at the US Payments Forum and is serving as  Co-Chair of the Transit Contactless Open Payments Working Committee.
