Juliet joined Transport Scotland in 2009 and has worked in various communications roles, leading to her current position as Smart Commercial & Marketing Manager and more recently also covering as Interim Smart Programme Manager for our smart and integrated ticketing team. The team provides support to both public and private bodies with developing and implementing smart across our public transport networks, delivering successful multi-modal smartcard interoperability in Scotland in November 2019, launching the first round of the £2 million Mobility as a Service fund in June 2019, and managing our £1.1 million Smart Pay Grant fund to enable contactless payment on board for now 85% of Scotland's buses.

Prior to working in Transport Scotland Juliet worked in the railway industry for Babcock Rail (previously First Engineering). She has a BA (Hons) in Journalism & Media, a diploma in Marketing, is a member of the Chartered Institute of PR, and an Agile Project Management Practitioner.
