Jonathan has been a part of Region Uppsala (Sweden) since 2015. He spends his days thinking about ticketing so that travelers don't have to.

As Product Owner, Jonathan is responsible for in-house development of the region's next generation ticketing system. Areas of focus are simplification and lowering the barriers of entry for new travelers. Due to its geographical location just north of Stockholm, the Uppsala region has a large amount of commuters across PTA borders. This requires developing the region's ticketing systems in ways that harmonize with the evolving Swedish open standard for ticketing and payments.

Jonathan has a background in computer science and often finds himself as a link between IT and business development.
