Joe has more than 30 years-experience of designing, implementing, transitioning, operating and improving service delivery and customer service operations for high profile technology contracts, including the London Oyster Card. As a general manager he has led major projects, business transitions as well as global service and quality organisations in multiple sectors with significant P&L responsibilities. He has specialist expertise in the transition-in of services between suppliers for large-scale fare payments systems. Joe brings in-depth knowledge and practical “hands-on” experience of setting up and delivering fare payments systems and services on a global basis. He has a solid understanding of the architecture of such systems and the contemporary issues associated with hardware, software and complex systems integration in this context. He has specific experience leading the service and quality organisations, including identifying and sponsoring multiple component reliability improvement projects. He has also overseen multiple service transitions, in multiple large cities.
