Jake Sion is the Chief Operating Officer of Transit, where he manages the teams responsible for developing and supporting partnerships with cities, public transit agencies and shared mobility providers. Prior to joining Transit in 2014, Jake worked on customer facing technology projects for Transdev, including leading mobile ticketing deployments for Nassau County's NICE Bus and the New Orleans RTA. Jake has also worked for Boston's transit agency, the MBTA, where he was part of the small innovation team that launched the first major mobile ticketing solution in the United States in 2012. Jake holds a B.A. from Cornell University where he studied Urban Planning and International Relations.
