Hallie Liao
Hallie Liao is the Head of China Investments for Transport International Holdings (SEHK:62) and Deputy General Manager for Shenzhen Bus Group.
As the Head of China Investments for TIH, Hallie is responsible for overseeing the company’s JVs in Mainland China and furthering sustainable public transportation integration between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. As Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Bus Group, Hallie oversees the Group’s advertising, training and international development after the company became the worlds’ first and largest electric-powered public transportation operator. In her role of working with international partners across NGOs, government and private sector to build sustainable electric vehicle infrastructure, she has led projects in the MENA region, North America, Europe, and South East Asia.
Prior to joining TIH and SZBG, Hallie worked for the United Nations Development Programme and McKinsey in cross-border development projects.
Hallie’s work in electric transportation and the new energy field has been covered by Forbes, Bloomberg, the World Bank, the Guardian, CCTV, etc.
Hallie is a native speaker in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and is conversational in Spanish.
Hallie holds a B.A in Political Science and Economics from Columbia University.
