Efe joined UITP in 2018 as manager of EU funded projects in implementation of flagship deployment projects on battery electric and hydrogen buses. Since August 2022, Efe is in charge of management of the UITP IT Committees as well as coordinator of the EU CEF funded projects on multimodal data sharing standards and travel information services, namely DATA4PT and NAPCORE.

Prior joining to UITP, Efe held positions at the EC DG Research and Innovation, Transport Directorate and consultancy companies in Brussels specializing in EU R&I policies and projects in transport. He holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
