Dr Paul Drummond
Paul is Settlement and Specialist Services Director for Transport and Mobility at Worldline UK&I.
He has over 25 years’ experience across rail, aviation and public transport, spanning fare collection, revenue systems, regulatory services and customer-facing platforms. Before joining Worldline, he advised the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the Department for Transport on large-scale transformation programmes and service modernisation.
At Worldline, Paul has held senior roles including Chief Product Officer and Business Strategy Director. He leads products and services covering ticketing, open payments, settlement, validation and back-office operations, working closely with operators to modernise legacy infrastructure and improve data quality, compliance and commercial performance.
His work includes launching new transport products, introducing regulated services, and designing operating models for complex, multi-modal environments.
Paul brings strong commercial and governance experience through executive and board-level roles, and currently chairs the Loughborough University School of Science Industry Advisory Board.
He holds a PhD in Mathematics and is CIMA-qualified in management accounting.
