Daniela Aubry is the Chief Payments Officer at Metrolinx, overseeing the PRESTO fare payment platform, which serves millions of transit riders daily across 11 municipal and provincial transit agencies in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) as well as Ottawa. In this role, she leads a team focused on advancing innovative, flexible payment solutions for transit agencies and their customers.

Daniela has an extensive history in the financial technology, payments, and product spaces, having held the position of Deputy Chief of Payments and the Head of PRESTO Customer and Clients prior to her current role. Before joining Metrolinx, she also held leadership positions at CIBC and InComm, where she focused on product development, client relationship management, digital channel management, and sales. Daniela continues to serve as Chair of the Stakeholder Advisory Council of Payments Canada and is passionate about the advancement of payment systems across the country. 

Daniela is also committed to inclusion and diversity and believes in the importance of mentorship for career development. She is an active mentor to emerging leaders through her work as a Steering Committee Member of the Metrolinx Women’s Network, and in 2024, Daniela was the recipient of the Women in Payments Innovation Award.

Daniela has a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
