Vittorio Carta
Vittorio Carta holds Italian and German passports and has an electrical engineering degree as well as an MBA. Vittorio has been working for almost 20 years in commercial and technical positions within Deutsche Bahn Group. His last thirteen years were focused on international passenger transport, among other he held the position of New Business Development Executive at Arriva PLC in London and Frankfurt.
Vittorio is currently also acting as Open sales and Distribution (OSDM) Initiative Manager and Passenger Services Group (PSG) Chair at UIC. All activities are key elements of the rail sector’s response to the increasing demands for improving access to rail distribution. Particularly the aim OSDM is about implementing the specified online interface between rail distribution players to improve rail customer’s travelling experience and create growth opportunities for rail in Europe.
Additionally to that Vittorio is Vice President of the TAP TSI Services Governance Association (TSGA), a legal entity as an answer of the rail sector to the TAP TSI regulatory requirements in order to ensure access to fundamental rail data in a non-discriminatory way.
