Thomas Clemens
Thomas has worked for over 20 years in the field of public transport in Germany and The Netherlands after graduating as M.A. at the RWTH Aachen University of Technology. Starting at the regional public transport authority in the Aachen region, then founding a consulting business in the Netherlands and finally joining the management team of Arriva for the Limburg region, Thomas has worked on and led numerous projects with a strong focus on cross-border bus and train connections – including the three-country-train between Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany, new stations, new fare schemes and products, interoperable ticketing projects and the MaaS-pilot Limburg, which ultimately led to the interoperable international ticketing solution that is presented at the TTG 2025.
