Steve Ramsay
Steve has 15 years of experience in transit ticketing, starting with being responsible for assuring the Oyster Card system for TfL, and managing the addition of new functionality such as the expansion of Oyster onto National Rail Services. Steve went on to be the product owner of the Future Ticketing Project, leading the specification and development of the components that power TfLs contactless system.
Since leaving TfL, Steve has worked internationally as an independent ticketing consultant, working with Government, Operators and Suppliers supporting the development of Account Based Ticketing Schemes, especially those that accept Open Loop Payment Cards.
Steve has recently joined Innovatious, a consultancy specialising in transit ticketing systems with deep technical knowledge of ticketing systems gleaned from real practical experience of their design, development, implementation and operation.
