Santiago González is an electronics engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for driving innovation in the semiconductor industry. With expertise in NFC technology, security solutions, embedded systems and solution integration, Santiago has played a pivotal role in helping NXP customers develop advanced, secure systems that meet modern demands for the last 12 years.

As Marketing Manager at NXP, Santiago connects state of the art MIFARE products with market needs. His technical knowledge and customer focused mindset allow him to understand the evolving transit ecosystem. Santiago excels at translating complex engineering concepts into compelling solutions, driving adoption and growth.

Before transitioning to marketing, Santiago built his career as Field Application Engineer in secure embedded systems for EMEA region, where he gained hands-on experience tackling customer specific integration challenges from architecture definition to low level code debugging. This foundation allows him to engage deeply with customers and deliver tailored solutions that combine innovation with reliability.
