Noormah Mohd Noor joined Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) in October 1997 as General Manager of Finance, and was instrumental in the development of the air-rail link between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and KL Sentral Station. Noormah played a key role in restructuring the financing package to put the ERL project back on track following the Asian Financial Crisis in 1998.

She was appointed ERL’s Chief Executive in June 2009. She is also a Director of ERL Maintenance Support Sdn Bhd.

Under her leadership, ERL charted a double digit growth for 5 consecutive years after recovering from the effects of the last global downtrend in 2010, putting the company on the global map with numerous industry awards and overseas consultancy services.

An advocate of technological innovation, Noormah is a regular speaker at conferences both in Malaysia and abroad on rail transport and specifically, air-rail related subjects.
