In the early 2000s Kevin completed a degree in computer technology in Perth Australia, dove straight into automated fare collection, and never looked back. This journey of public transport discovery took him across the globe to Scandinavia where he supported systems deployed in Sweden while engaging closely with clients and real end users. Now residing in London, working in product ownership, he focuses on features and enhancements for clients in the US, UK, Canada, and Europe. As part of this role he works with ABT smartcard, mobile QR, CBT legacy, and contactless EMV media types incorporating capabilities in zonal, flat-fare, capping, multi-modal, and multi-operator fare policies.
