Joyce Tay
With over 20 years’ experience in the Land Transport Authority, Joyce has been actively involved in various transformation initiatives. Under her current portfolio, Joyce is responsible for the business, policies and operational requirements of public transport ticketing functions, as well as promotion of e-Payment adoption and inclusive transport initiatives. Joyce oversaw the successful launch of contactless bankcard acceptance in 2019 and tokenised stored value cards over 2021-2022 under Singapore’s account-based ticketing (ABT) system, aka SimplyGo. She also led the cessation of use of single trip paper tickets across Singapore’s rail network. She and her team are now working on expanding the use of the open-loop payment platform, and reducing use of cash and manned service channels in transit.
