Friedo van Gelder is Vice President of Urban Mobility at Mastercard for Europe. In this role he is responsible for supporting regions and cities in Europe in developing payments solutions that reduce friction and enable interoperability and inclusion. Friedo also leads Mastercards Global Urban Mobility Innovation Hub located in Amsterdam which is a center for public and private sector to learn, interact and be inspired on urban mobility solutions from around the world and experience contactless EMV transit solutions in the Netherlands firsthand.
