Chapin Flynn
Chapin Flynn is the Senior Vice President of Transit and Urban Mobility at Mastercard. In that role he is responsible for leveraging Mastercard’s products and services to streamline the process of moving around urban environments, enable transformative innovation, and reduce friction for all organizations throughout the urban mobility ecosystem.
As a hybrid business and technology executive, Chapin has more than 25 years of business transformation experience across a diverse spectrum of specialties and industries. Chapin began his career in the insurance and financial services space and spent much of his time over the last 20 years focused on developing innovative commercial data solutions.
Chapin joined Mastercard in 2017 as Vice President of Enterprise Partnerships and was a leader on the team charged with realization and execution of Mastercard Track, the company's next-generation B2B product vision. At the conclusion of the incubation stage of that product, Chapin was seconded to Mastercard’s Center for Inclusive Growth, the company’s primary philanthropic team. During his secondment, Chapin led the Center’s global data-for-social-impact efforts. At the conclusion of his work with the Center, Chapin returned to the Enterprise Partnerships team and began his work in the transit space.
Chapin was a member of the US Department of Commerce Trade Finance Advisory Council from 2018 to 2022 and currently sits on CGAP’s (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) Data Expert Advisory Group and the University of Virginia’s Social Impact Data Commons Advisory Council. Chapin graduated from Lehigh University with a BA in 1996
