Caroline Pauwels is the CEO of Comutitres. Comutitres is a subsidiary of Ile-de-France Mobilité (IdFM). IdFM is the public authority in charge of controlling and coordinating public transport in the Île-de-France region which encompasses Paris. Comutitres develops and operates the shared ticketing solutions for the region. We ensure a seamless ticketing experience for public transport users regardless of the mode of transport or the operator. We also collect 2 billion € annually, ~ 50 % of all fare revenues, for IdFM.

Prior to her current role, Caroline was in charge of developing, launching and operating Véligo Location, the e-bike rental service of IdFM. As of today, Véligo Location is still the largest e-bike rental operation in the world with more than 20 000 e-bikes. Before taking on CEO responsibilities in the transport industry, Caroline had a diverse career in consulting (mainly Accenture and McKinsey) and in the service industry. Caroline holds a master degree from Solvay Business School in Belgium.
