Alexander Gellner holds German and Swiss passports and has an MBA with focus on strategic marketing. He has been with SBB for more than 12 years and is currently Head of International Distribution and Incoming Markets. Prior to joining SBB, Alexander spent 16 years in consulting at Gartner and in the mobile telecoms domain, working – among others – for Ericsson and Orange in Switzerland.
Alexander sits in the Supervisory Board of Swiss Travel System AG, a subsidiary in charge of marketing Swiss public transport outside of Switzerland. He is also Vice-Chair of the UIC Passenger Service Group and has spent the past years initiating and driving various standardization initiatives in the European passenger railway business.
