Railway Children believe in a world where no child ever has to live on the streets.

Working in the UK, India and Tanzania, we support vulnerable children and young people alone and at risk on the streets and at transport hubs, on a path to a brighter future. Whether it’s helping to provide family-based care, access to education or finding the best solutions to break cycles of abuse, neglect and relationship breakdown, we’re there for every child for as long as it takes.

Our experience and relationships across transport networks provides a unique opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. As well as one-to-one support, we work with families, fellow agencies, rail partners, government and communities to raise awareness of the underlying issues that affect young people and create long-lasting change.
