The Rail Innovation Group is a non-profit organisation dedicated to diversifying the rail supply chain by connecting the industry with tech start-ups and digital innovators. We champion the role of small companies in helping rail modernise and meet public and policy expectations.

Our initiatives are designed to highlight forward-thinking cultures and reduce barriers for smaller organisations with activities such as our networking Meet Ups, the Recognised Innovation Scheme, and our targeted supplier discovery programme, Start Up Rail. Through our Thought Pieces we advocate for policy changes that make it easier for innovators to engage with rail.
